The TAK-12 (Terranovian Avtomat Kalashnikova 2212) is a select fire adaptive combat weapon designed by the Terranovian people. It was the standard issued rifle built for the Terranovian Armed Forces during the early start of the Terranovian Empire. The weapon is a copy of the Russian AK-12 that was developed by the late Mikhail Kalashnikov before he died in 2013.
History []
The TAK-12 was built as a standard issued rifle for the armed forces after observing the AK-12's performance during the 21st century. It proved to be an amazing weapon during the early years of the Terranovian Empire; so it continued service during the totalitarian reign of the empire.
Eventually though; the Terranovian Resistance got their hands on some of these and utilized this against the forces commanded by Chandra Kuasa. The weapon also served both sides during the Terranovian Civil War and as a result; was what won the Civil War.
Present Day[]
By the 24th century; the TAK-12 was replaced by the new TR-60, although there were some nostalgic people out there that continue to use this weapon on the modern battlefield. The weapon has also been given to the I.A.F; alongside the Plasma Atomizer and even the PA-38.
